Battling "Travitude"

You know that feeling when you start getting a little grumpy, a little sassy, and you just can’t seem to shake it? That’s “travitude”—the restlessness that sets in when you’re longing for your next adventure. Tonight, it hit me hard. As I sat down to plan my lessons for school, and reluctantly tackled a pile of dishes, I felt it creeping in.
And then, as if on cue, my screensaver flickered to life with a photo from 2017—a snapshot of the breathtaking interior of Notre Dame. Instantly, I was transported back to Paris, a city that holds an irreplaceable part of my heart. Ernest Hemingway once said, “There are only two places in the world where we can live happy: at home and in Paris.” I couldn’t agree more.
I vividly remember sitting in Notre Dame with my friend Lisa years ago, tears streaming down my face. The sheer magnitude of the cathedral’s beauty and history overwhelmed me. Every intricate detail spoke of the devotion of those who worked tirelessly, century after century, to create this masterpiece. In that moment, I felt an unexpected sense of homecoming, as though I had discovered a hidden piece of my heart.

Fast forward to March 2025, and I’m eagerly anticipating my return to Paris, a city that never fails to renew my spirit. This time, it’s on a journey called “Paris, Your Way”—a chance to experience the city in all its glory, just as Notre Dame re-emerges after years of meticulous restoration.
Imagine this: a few blissful days in Paris, surrounded by a group of incredible women, doing some eating, praying, and loving (or laughing!). Picture yourself enjoying fondue in the charming streets of Montmartre, standing in awe before Monet’s mesmerizing murals at L’Orangerie, indulging in all-you-can-eat steak-frites, and sipping coffee in the very cafes that once buzzed with the creative energy of the roaring 20s.
